Students are expected to attend class on all working days. They have to be present for the school activities on Republic Day, Independence Day, and School functions like Sports Day, Annual Day, Feast Days and other obligatory days.

ABSENCE:

a) Absence note must be written in the school diary. It needs to be brought the very day the student rejoins the school. If he is absent for 3 and / or more days due to illness he needs to provide medical fitness certificate along with a leave application. Further, if due to some exigencies / misfortune, the student is absent for 3 or more days the parents must submit a letter of application (with supporting documents) to the Vice-Principal.

b) Students must get their absence note in the diary signed by Vice-Principal / Principal / assigned teachers before he enters the class, failing which disciplinary action will be taken.

c) If a student is absent for more than 10 calendar days without any prior written notification to the Principal, his name / roll will be struck off from the register. Procedure for new admission will be applicable if readmission is permitted.

d) The reason for absence must be recorded in the specified page of the school diary and duly signed by the Parents /Guardian. Description should be very brief, within the line.

For any long leave (more than 3 days), parents are requested to give a written application addressed to the Principal in advance and obtain the permission.
