Rules & Regulations

A. VISITING HOURS ON CLASS DAYS :

Parents / Guardians must not stay in the school premises during class hours. They may neither visit the class rooms nor meet their wards or teachers during class hours or during lunch break. Parents will leave their boys at the gate without entering the premises.

Parents may visit teachers on Wednesdays and Fridays only between 2.00 p.m. to 2.30 p.m. (Primary) and 12.15 p.m. to 12.45 p.m. (Secondary), after a written request is made in the school diary; likewise, teachers may invite parents to meet them through the school diary. An appointment slip will be the gate pass for parents.

Vice-Principal – Primary : Visiting Hours for Guardians

Monday to Friday : 10.00 a.m. - 11.00 a.m.

Monday to Friday : 10.00 a.m. - 11.00 a.m.

Vice-Principal – H.S. : Visiting Hours for Guardians

Monday to Friday : 10.00 a.m. - 11.00 a.m.

Parents meeting Teacher : Wednesdays and Fridays.

Primary – 2.00 p.m. to 2.30 p.m.

Secondary – 12.15 p.m. to 12.45 p.m

 

B. UNIFORM :

White shirt (half-sleeved) : S. Kumar - Legend

Grey trousers (Cls. VIII - X) : S. Kumar - Shade 147

Grey tie with white stripes : Available from school

Belt

Black shoes (BATA ‘Naughty Boy’) with white socks (For P.T. classes: white keds, white shorts and house jersey)

N.B. : (a)The lower portion of the shirt must be inserted inside the shorts / trousers.
(b)No student shall enter or leave the school premises without proper school uniform on class days.
(c)Winter apparel - Navy blue pullover or blazer.

C. WEEKLY HOLIDAY:

Saturday is the weekly holiday. It is an opportunity for students to enjoy a rest from the pressure of class work and for some to make up for the loss by their absence from school.

Saturdays may be a working day, if necessary, during Exam. period and if there is a loss of two working days in a month.

 

D. DISCIPLINE:

I. Punctuality:
Students must be punctual in attending their classes. Parents / Guardians are requested to extend their full cooperation to the school authorities in ensuring punctuality of their wards.
Late comers : Those who reach after 8.40 a.m. will not be allowed to enter the school premises or attend class.
Absentees : The reason for absence must be recorded in the specified page of the school diary and duly signed by the Guardian. Student should get their diary signed by the Vice-Principal or Co-ordinator or P.T. Teachers.

II. Class Discipline :
a) After the first bell at 8.35 a.m. and at 12.45 p.m. all the students should enter their respective classes and be seated. With the second bell at 8.40 a.m. and 12.50 p.m. there must be complete silence. The School Assembly is at 8.40 a.m. While changing classes for Computer / P. T. / Catechism, students must go to the appointed classes in perfect lines and in silence accompanied by the respective teachers. They must return to their classes in the same manner accompanied by the teacher.
b) Students should not carry mobile phones and other expensive electronic gadgets with them, and if found, it will be confiscated.

 

E. TOKENS, CERTIFICATES AND GRADES:

Students are regularly rewarded for their diligence, merit, and regularity. The system of tokens, certificates and prizes (which boys receive at the end of semesters and sessions) will be announced to them on the day of results.

N.B. Tokens of different categories are awarded to students for greater endeavour in studies and higher educational excellence and for all-round personal formation.

Those who fail in any subject will not receive a certificate of honour. If a student obtains a cumulative 100 points, he is entitled to get a prize for his academic performance and excellence i.e. prize for diligence.
GRADES:
AA 90 – 100 = Excellent
A+ 70 – 89 = Very Good
A 60 – 69 = Good
B+ 45 – 59 = Satisfatory
B 35 – 44 = Unsatisfatory
C < 40(P) < 35 (S) = Failed

 

F. TUITION / SESSION FEES:

The fees cover one academic year. Fees are to be paid according to the calendar month mentioned in the diary, unless otherwise indicated in the school diary. Session Fees must be paid in the month of the February. Fee defaulters have to pay a fine of Rs. 300/- between 1st and 15th of the following month. After 15th of the following month, defaulters will not be allowed to attend school. Test results of pupils who owe arrears will be withheld. No rebate is made for vacations or leave of absence. Pupils are liable to be charged full fees as long as their names are on the roll. All fees are to be paid at Syndicate Bank (St. Lawrence Branch) in the school premises. For payment of fees, please use the fee book. Fees should be paid in Cash or by D.D. / Pay order.
If convenient, fees may be paid Quarterly / Half Yearly / Yearly at the beginning. Payment by cheque is not accepted.

 

G. LOST ITEMS:

Charges for the following items if they are lost:

4. Identity Card – Rs. 60
5. Jersey – Rs. 300
6. Badge – Rs. 30
